How to customize your profile
Step 1: Edit Your Basic Profile Info
Once your account is created and verified, you'll land on your profile page, where your public link will come to life.
On this screen, you can:
Click the pencil icons to edit:
- Profile Picture → Upload a professional photo or your logo, or use AVA to generate one!
- Name → Edit your display name
- Username → This controls your public link (ex,
bookme.com/altman) - Location → (Optional) Add your city or region
- Profile Description → Share who you are and what you offer
Pro Tip:
Make your description clear, confident, and niche-specific. For example:
“Licensed MUA in Miami specializing in bridal glam and event makeup. 10+ years of experience. Booking by appointment only.”
Step 2: Customize Your Appearance
Your profile should reflect your brand personality — bold, minimal, elegant, or playful. Bookme makes it easy with a fully customizable color palette.
To customize your colors:
Click the “Customize Appearance” button on your profile header.
Choose a color from the picker, or select one of the recommended presets below the gradient bar.
- This color will apply to buttons, links, and accent elements on your public booking page.
- When you're happy with your selection, click “Save Color.”
Pro Tip:
Pick a color that matches your brand identity or Instagram aesthetic for a cohesive client experience.
Step 3: Add Profile Content (Photos & Videos)
This is where your profile comes to life visually! High-quality images and short videos help you stand out and build client trust.
To add photos or videos:
Click the “Add Profile Content” button from your profile header.
Upload up to 6 images or videos representing your work, brand, or personality.
- Recommended size: 1600x900px for images
- You can drag to reorder them based on what clients want to see first.
- (Optional) Upload a 30-second profile video introducing yourself, or use the AI assistant to help you generate one.
Video Guidelines:
- Format: MP4
- Max size: 50MB
- Max length: 30 seconds
- Speak clearly and highlight: who you are, what you offer, and how to book you
Pro Tip:
Use lifestyle shots, behind-the-scenes footage, or before-and-afters to show what you do best.
Once you’re done, click “Add Profile Content” to save your visuals.
