How to Get Paid as a Service Provider

Learn how to get paid as a service provider. Understand payment options, connect your Stripe account for direct payouts, set up your bank account, request cash outs, and track payout status—so you know exactly when and how you get paid.

This article explains how payouts work, how to set up your bank account, how to request a cash out, and the difference between using Bookme’s default payment processing and connecting your own Stripe account.


Payment Processing Options

Service providers currently have two ways to process payments.

Option 1: Bookme Default Payment Processing (Temporary)

  • Payments are processed through Bookme’s Stripe account

  • No setup required to start accepting payments

  • Funds accumulate in your Available to Cash Out balance

Note: This option is being phased out and will no longer be available in the near future.


Option 2: Connect Your Own Stripe Account (Recommended)

This is the future and preferred payment method.

  • Payments are processed directly through your own Stripe merchant account

  • Stripe pays you out directly, based on your Stripe payout settings

  • Stripe supports:

    • Daily payouts

    • Weekly payouts

    • Payouts based on balance thresholds

    • and more


How to Connect Your Stripe Account

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Click Settings in the left-hand menu

  3. Select Payment Integrations

  4. Under the Stripe section, click Connect

  5. Follow the Stripe onboarding flow

Once connected:

  • All payments go directly to your Stripe account

  • Stripe handles payouts automatically


Cashing Out with Bookme Default Payments

If you’ve processed payments using Bookme’s default processing, you’ll need to request a cash out.


Step-by-Step: Setting Up Your Bank Account

  1. From the dashboard, locate Available to Cash Out

  2. Click Cash Out

  3. You’ll be taken to Settings → Manage Payouts

  4. Click Add Payout Method

  5. Enter your US bank account information for ACH payouts

  6. Click Connect Bank Account

You’re now ready to receive payouts.


Requesting a Cash Out

  • Minimum cash out amount: $20

  • Once your balance reaches $20:

    1. Go to the dashboard

    2. Click Cash Out in the Available to Cash Out section

    3. Submit your request


Payout Processing Timeline

  • Payouts are reviewed Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM

  • Most payouts are processed:

    • Same day or within 24 hours

  • ACH timing:

    • Same-day ACH (if supported by your bank)

    • Next-day ACH

    • Worst case: 3–5 business days


Tracking Your Payouts

You can view payout history at any time:

  • Go to Settings → Manage Payouts

  • Or click Cash Out from the dashboard

Each payout shows a status:

  • Pending – Request submitted

  • Processing – Being sent to your bank

  • Completed – Funds delivered

  • Rejected – Bank issue (you’ll be notified to update info)
