How to Manage Your Availability & Time Off

Learn how to manage your availability and time off in minutes. Update service schedules, block full days or specific hours, and create exceptions for appointments, travel, or personal time, so clients can only book when you’re available.

Managing your availability ensures clients can only book you when you’re truly available. You can easily adjust service schedules or block time off for appointments, travel, or personal days—without affecting your overall setup.


Step-by-Step Guide: Managing Availability

Step 1: Open Availability

  • Log in to your account.

  • On desktop, from the left-hand menu, click Availability.

  • On mobile, open the hamburger menu, and tap Availability.

You’ll see a list view of all your services and appointments, including the days and times each service is offered.

Step 2: Edit a Service Schedule

  • Hover over the service you want to modify.

    • On desktop, a pencil icon appears when hovering.

    • On mobile, the pencil icon is always visible.

  • Click the edit (pencil) icon.

Step 3: Update Days and Times

  • The edit service opens automatically on the Schedule tab.

  • Adjust the days and times you offer that service.

  • Click Save Changes.

Your availability for that service is now updated.


Step-by-Step Guide: Managing Time Off

Step 1: Open “Manage Time Off”

  • While on the Availability page, click Manage Time Off in the top-right corner.

  • A side panel will slide in from the right.

Step 2: Create a Time Off Exception

  • Click Create Exception.

  • A calendar view will appear.

Step 3: Select Dates

  • Click a single date to block availability for one day.

  • Select multiple dates to create exceptions across several days (ideal for travel or extended time off).

Step 4: Choose Availability Type

Below the calendar, choose one of the following options:

  • Unavailable All Day
    Toggle this option to block the entire day from bookings.

OR

  • Set Specific Times

    • Choose a start time and end time from the dropdown menus.

    • Example: Unavailable from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This will apply to every date you selected and will block off those times across all your services and appointments.

Step 5: Save the Exception

  • Click Create Exception.

  • Your time off will appear in a list view of all exceptions.


Step 6: Add or Remove Time Off

  • Click the plus (+) icon to add more exceptions.

  • Click the red trash can next to an exception to delete it.


What Happens After You Set Availability or Time Off

  • Clients can only book during your active availability.

  • Blocked times and days are automatically excluded from booking.

  • Your schedule stays accurate, even when plans change.

That’s it! You’re now fully in control of your availability and time off.
