Free appointments are perfect for discovery calls, intro meetings, or casual check-ins—online or in person. They’re free to book without having to create an account, easy to set up, and let anyone schedule time with you using your published availability.
Step-by-Step Guide: Creating a Free Appointment
Step 1: Log In and Add a New Appointment
Log in to your account.
From the dashboard, locate the Services & Appointments section.
Click the Add New button.
In the overlay, select Free Appointment and click Select.
This opens a simplified setup wizard with 5 steps.
Step 2: Appointment Details
Enter the appointment title and description.
Add an image or generate one using AI.
Click Next to continue.
Step 3: Schedule and Duration Options
Set Appointment Duration
Choose a minimum and maximum duration.
For a fixed-length meeting, set both to the same time.
To let bookers choose, set a range (e.g., 15–45 minutes).
Set Your Availability
You can define availability in two ways:
Option 1: AI Schedule Assistant
Describe your availability in natural language.
Example:
“Available Monday to Wednesday from 9 AM–12 PM and Thursday to Friday from 3–9 PM.”The AI automatically generates your schedule.
Option 2: Manual Setup
Select days of the week using the checkboxes.
Set start and end times for each day.
Add multiple time slots if needed.
Use the copy times icon to apply hours to all or selected days.
Step 4: Choose Appointment Method
Online Appointments

Select Other to use:

Custom link
In-Person Appointments
Enter the location or venue name where the meeting will take place.
Click Next to continue.
Step 5: Booking Availability Window
Choose how long this appointment can be booked:
Ongoing: Rolling availability
Allow bookings up to a set number of days in the future (e.g., 30 days).Fixed date range
Limit bookings to specific dates (e.g., February 1–28).
Step 6: Notifications and Publishing
Custom Welcome Message
Write a personalized message sent to bookers after they schedule.
Delivered via Bookme's built-in Messenger, which triggers an email and/or SMS notifcation, depending on booker settings.

Step 7: Create and Publish
Click Create & Preview.
Your free appointment is instantly published to your profile and ready to share.
