This article explains when your client is charged and how to confirm a completed service so payment is processed. Charges are intentional and provider-controlled to ensure fairness for both you and your client.
When a Client Is Charged
Authorization at Booking
When a client books your service, their credit card is authorized, not charged.
This confirms the card is valid and able to pay for the service.
Why We Don’t Charge Immediately
Bookings may be scheduled far in advance.
We avoid holding client funds for long periods before the service takes place.
No money is collected at booking time.
Charging the Client After the Service Is Completed
Once you’ve delivered the service, you must confirm completion to trigger the charge.
Step-by-Step Guide: Confirming a Service and Charging the Client
Step 1: Log In and Go to Bookings
Log in to your account.
Click Bookings in the left-hand menu.
Step 2: Look for “Action Required”
Bookings that need to be completed and charged will show an Action Required badge.
This indicates the service has taken place but hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Step 3: Open the Booking Record
Click the booking you want to complete.
The booking record will open with full details.
Step 4: Confirm and Charge
