How to Reschedule a Booking

Step-by-Step Guide for Service Providers and Bookers

Learn how to reschedule a booking step-by-step. Service Providers send a reschedule request, and Bookers select a new available date and time. Follow this guide to quickly update bookings and keep your schedule organized.

Rescheduling on bookme is simple. Below are clear step-by-step instructions depending on your role.


For Service Providers

(You can request a reschedule and the Booker selects the new time.)


Method 1: Reschedule from the Bookings List

Step 1: Open Bookings

From the left-hand menu, click Bookings.

Step 2: Locate the Booking

Scroll through your list to find the booking you want to reschedule.

Step 3: Open the Action Menu

Hover over the booking and click the three-dot (⋯) menu on the right side.

Step 4: Select “Reschedule Booking”

From the dropdown menu, click Reschedule Booking.

Step 5: Send the Reschedule Request

A message window will open prompting you to notify your client.
Send the message so they can select a new available date and time.


Method 2: Reschedule from Booking Details

Step 1: Open Bookings

Click Bookings from the left-hand menu.

Step 2: Click the Booking

Select the booking you want to update. A right-hand panel will slide open.

Step 3: Click “View Details”

In the top right of the panel, click View Details.

Step 4: Click “Reschedule Booking”

Select Reschedule Booking.

Step 5: Send the Request

Send the message prompting the Booker to choose a new time.


Important for Service Providers

  • You cannot directly choose a new time on behalf of the Booker.

  • The Booker must complete the reschedule flow.

  • Alternatively, you may Cancel Booking, and the client can create a new booking.


For Bookers

(You select the new available time.)

If your Service Provider sends you a reschedule request, or you wish to reschedule a confirmed booking, follow these steps:


Step 1: Open Your Bookings

Go to your Bookings section from the main menu.

Step 2: Select the Booking

Click on the booking that needs to be rescheduled.

Step 3: Click “View Details”

Open the full booking details.

Step 4: Click “Reschedule Booking”

Select Reschedule Booking.

Step 5: Choose a New Date and Time

Pick a new available time that works best for you.

Step 6: Confirm

Confirm your selection to update the booking.


How Rescheduling Works

  1. The Service Provider sends a reschedule request.

  2. The Booker selects a new available time.

  3. The booking automatically updates once confirmed.
